They are looking for a target driven Account Manager/Business Development Manager with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in sales/business development within the office interiors fit-out and refurbishment industry.

  • Up to £37,500 annual salary dependent on experience

Job Details

  • The Account Manager/Business Development Manager will meet and exceed targets by developing new business enquiries through to live projects.
  • The Account Manager/Business Development Manager will travel around the UK to fulfil their role.
  • The Account Manager/Business Development Manager will proactively use their experience, knowledge and excellent communication skills to generate their own enquiries.
  • The Account Manager/Business Development Manager will demonstrate the ability to listen and understand clients’ requirements and to create a detailed brief.
  • The Account Manager/Business Development Manager will manage the design and estimating process.
  • They will present the costs and designs to the client and ensure any communication is followed up.
  • The Account Manager/Business Development Manager will take responsibility for the project handover.
  • The Account Manager/Business Development Manager will work alongside the Managing Director on new marketing strategies.

 Ideal Candidate

  • The successful candidate will have a proven track record and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in sales/business development within the office interiors fit-out and refurbishment industry.
  • A University degree is desirable but not essential.
  • A building surveying background or qualification is desirable.
  • Very strong Microsoft Excel spreadsheets is essential.
  • The successful candidate will demonstrate knowledge of business development strategy.
  • They will have the ability to create, develop and maintain relationships internally and externally.
  • A confident, presentable individual who demonstrates excellent interpersonal, verbal, presentation, and written communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and with the ability to work within a team or independently.
  • The successful candidate will have a good knowledge of GDPR and H&S legislations and regulations.
  • Flexible, proactive and with the initiative to solve problems as they arise.

Location and Hours

Milton Keynes

Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm
