Job Description

 

EAC are representing a Global Manufacturer looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join their team in Milton Keynes, also supporting the Import of goods. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to grow and develop within a long-term, successful career.

Supply Chain Coordinator

Duties

 

  • Plan and manage the flow of goods from International Deliveries
  • Manage the preparation of documents (Customs Invoices and Packing Lists)
  • Manage and instruct Customs Broker to conduct clearance of inbound consignment; resolving any issues to avoid delays, provide timely and accurate clearance data to Customs in the UK.
  • Manage Customs legislations changes and liaise with the relevant authorities on any related queries.
  • Management of the Purchase Orders and receipt of deliveries
  • Plan logistics & deliveries from suppliers, liaising with all external stakeholders involved in the process
  • Ensuring the business has the right amount of stock; suggest changes to inventory to meet demand etc
  • Support inventory checks to validate stock accuracy

 

 

The Ideal Candidate

 

  • Experienced using SAP (Internal systems knowledge)
  • Experience with Import and Export processes and regulations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Microsoft Package – including Excel
  • Dynamic with a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Self-motivated, with a willingness to learn and go the extra mile
